Crozer Health has announced it will temporarily suspend services at the Delaware County Memorial Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and surgery departments beginning Tuesday, May 31, 2022, due to staffing issues that have challenged the health care industry across the country. Emergency services and inpatient medical will remain open at the hospital.

In addition, the system will suspend the hospital based outpatient services as of Tuesday, April 5, 2022. These service suspensions will allow for the temporary reallocation of staff from these departments to other areas in the health system in need of additional resources.

Crozer stated that they will continue to assess operations and will make additional modifications that are in the best interest of the patients, staff and community they serve.
