Effective July 1, 2022 and where applicable according to your contract with Health Partners Plans (HPP), HPP will resume sequestration reductions to our Medicare payments consistent with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) recent notice, which can be found at CMS.gov.

This reduction only applies to Medicare Advantage plans and is calculated afterall member cost sharing is applied. When applicable, the sequestration adjustment will be identified on your explanation of payment (EOP).
