Effective September 1, 2022, Health Partners Plans (HPP) temporarily removed prior authorization requirements for both participating and non-participating providers in the outpatient setting for our KidzPartners (CHIP) membership.

The outpatient setting is defined as following places of service:

• 11 – Office
• 19 – Off Campus – Outpatient Hospital
• 22 – On Campus – Outpatient Hospital
• 24 – Ambulatory Surgical Center

This waiver of these authorization requirements will remain in effect through January 31, 2023.
