• Sensitivity training on diverse and Special Needs populations such as persons who are deaf or hard of hearing: how to obtain sign language interpreters and how to work effectively with sign language interpreters.
• Cultural Competency and how to access “Think Cultural Health,” A Physician’s Practical Guide to Culturally Competent Care, including: the right of Members with LEP to engage in effective communication in their language; how to obtain interpreters, and; how to work effectively with interpreters.
• Treating Special Needs populations, including the right to treatment for individuals with disabilities.
