Join Us: All About the Medicare Annual Wellness Visit (AWV) Webinar

Thank you for being a participating Health Partners Plans (HPP) provider. You’re invited to participate in an upcoming HPP webinar on Medicare Annual Wellness Visits on June 22, 2023.  

The Medicare Annual Wellness Visit (AWV) is a key preventive care visit covered by Medicare that helps collect important health information and serves as a time to complete important health screenings; however, less than 30% of HPP’s Medicare population has completed an AWV. This webinar, led by HPP subject matter experts, will cover all aspects of the Medicare Annual Wellness Visit. Benefits to both your practice and your patients will be reviewed, and we will offer recommendations on clearly communicating the importance of this visit to your patients.

We are pleased to present this session to you, as Valerie McEvoy and Terry McKeever, HPP’s Directors of Quality Improvement and Performance and Quality Management, will be lead presenters. The webinar will highlight key aspects of the AWV including:

  • AWV components and recommended standardized tools
  • Staff members who contribute to AWV completion
  • Sample AWV workflow your office can implement
  • AWV-specific billing and reimbursement education

HPP encourages you and others in your practice to attend, including:

  • Provider office staff who need additional education about the AWV workflow and requirements
  • Clinical and non-clinical leadership team and staff involved in quality improvement projects
  • Staff managing the P4P revenue cycle opportunities from your MCO partners
  • Staff reviewing and utilizing the HPP reports on Health Trio
