To take the training, go to hpplans.com/requiredtraining and complete the attestation upon completing the training.
ACCESS AND APPOINTMENT & AVAILABILITY STANDARDS
Timely access to quality health care is extremely important for our members. As you should be aware, it is a regulatory requirement that all HPP-participating providers must meet clearly defined access, appointment and availability standards. These standards can be found in Chapter 10, Provider Practice Standards and Guidelines, of the HPP Provider Manual, available at hpplans.com/providermanual.
To help ensure that your site is adhering to appropriate timeframes for scheduling and availability, we have enclosed copies of these standards for PCPs, Specialists and Ob/Gyns. These documents include:
- Provider Access and Appointment Standards
- Telephone Availability Standards
HPP ACCESS AND AVAILABILITY SURVEYS
Each year, HPP surveys our providers to determine if they are meeting these standards. A new mandatory survey is planned for April 1, 2023. We look forward to your participation.
